The Fitness Theory Course is the core course for people wishing to become instructors in aquatic fitness, strength training, group exercise, adapted or senior's fitness. The Fitness Theory Course will give you the tools to safely and confidently design fitness programs and help to dispel nutrition and strength training myths. Typically the fitness theory course is offered as a 30-hour classroom course or by correspondence. PhysEx offers a combination course: correspondence and an 8-hour classroom session. Easy to understand concepts make up the correspondence sections, while training principles, physiology, and anatomy are covered in a classroom setting with an experienced trainer to assist with students in their understanding.
